Op deze website staan de resultaten van het onafhankelijke onderzoek van de interim rapporteur toezicht advocatuur, mr. Rein Jan Hoekstra. Hij rapporteert gedurende 2012 over de kwaliteit, objectiviteit en integriteit van het toezicht op advocaten.

PHILIPSBURG – The Common Court of Justice rejected the Simpson Bay Resort Management company’s request to freeze the April 2-ruling that obliges the company to pay the employees of the former Pelican resort based on their collective labor agreement, to rehire these workers and to pay their union Wifol $50,000.

PHILIPSBURG - Lawyers of Workers Institute for Organised Labour (WIFOL) challenged one of the three judges of the Court of Appeals, who was to decide Friday on the application for a stay of execution on the April 2 ruling of the Court of First Instance, which had ruled in the union's favour in its case against management of Simpson Bay Resort.

ARNHEM - The former Central Bank of the Netherlands Antilles BNA, now the Central Bank of Curaçao and St. Maarten (CBCS), kept insufficient supervision on Dutch wealthy oil trader John Deuss and his First Curaçao International Bank (FCIB). An accusation to this extent came from the Public Prosecutor's Office in The Netherlands during the criminal trial at the Court in Arnhem against Deuss last Friday.
