RvA argue for more transparency

Since recent, the Advisory Council (RvA) of Curaçao has their own website, namely www.raadvanadvies.an – listing their latest advices. However, the RvA request cooperation from the Parliament in adding more documents on their website. These advices from RvA can only be published once they’ve been made public.

New Penal Code is being handled

THE HAGUE--The four Parliaments in the Kingdom used Tuesday, the first day of their four-day Inter-parliamentary Consultation, to make their marks on cooperation within the Kingdom. The 80/20-regulation is against the equality principle, according to the Advisory Council (RvA) in their advice on the ‘initiative concept national regulation to enhance a fair employment chance for local workers’ submitted by the PS-party. In their advice, the RvA queries the concept, stating amongst others that it is ill-founded, requiring further research and even superfluous.
