PHILIPSBURG--A 47-year-old former officer of the Voluntary Corps St. Maarten VKS was sentenced Wednesday to two weeks suspended, on two years’ probation, with fifty hours of community service, mandatory anger management training and treatment at Turning Point rehabilitation centre for alcohol addiction, for several cases of ill-treatment.
