- February 09, 2012 5:51 AM
On 1 January 2012, thirteen state ordinances have taken effect for Curaçao, with which a second phase in the project to introduce a new Civil Code in Curaçao has been completed.
The first phase of this project, when eighteen state ordinances took effect for - at the time - the Netherlands Antilles, had already been completed in 2001. The thirteen state ordinances concern all eight books of the Civil Code.
