Law firm officially opens in St. Maarten

Law Firm VanEps Kunneman VanDoorne officially opened its offices in St. Maarten on Friday 25th November 2011. The elegant opening reception was well attended, including many dignitaries.

His Excellency Governor Eugene Holiday and Prime Minister Sarah Wescot-Williams attended as special guests, as did other dignitaries such as Deputy Prime Minister Theodore Heyliger, Minister of Finance Hiro Shigemoto, President of Parliament Gracita Arrindell, Parliament Member Frans Richardson numerous leaders of commercial companies and government agencies.

The new offices has officially opened with speeches by managing partner of the firm professor dr. Frank Kunneman and Prime Minister Sarah Wescot-Williams. The Prime Minister:
“May this law firm continue to be one that stands out in St. Maarten. Not only because of the experts that you have behind you, but especially the way that your firm functions and operates here in the country St. Maarten.”

Mr. Kunneman:

With the opening of offices in St. Maarten, VanEps Kunneman VanDoorne is now present on all islands of the Dutch Caribbean, with the St. Maarten office also offering services to clients in St. Eustatius and Saba, as well as teaming up with lawyers in neighboring Anguilla and Nevis to serve their clients better. Team St. Maarten

The St. Maarten team consists of attorneys Norbert Hijmans, Peter van Dort, Michiel van den Brink, Michael Druijts and Marieke Quist. In addition, Frank Kunneman, Randolph van Eps, Mark Kater and Thijs Leijsen fly in on a frequent basis, as will all other specialized lawyers on a need be basis.
