New law firm Scheper Inderson Attorneys at Law

As per 1 June 2011 Gerrit Scheper and Saran Inderson have started a new law fim on Curacao: Scheper Inderson Attorneys at Law.

Scheper is a well known attorney on Curacao. He was born on Curacao, lived 22 years in the Netherlands, travelled around the world for two years and returned to Curacao in 1996.

After his graduation in 1996 at the University of Amsterdam, Gerrit Scheper started to work as an attorney at Diaz Advocaten on Curacao.

In September 2002 he set up law firm Small Murray Scheper Advocaten, with his two partners Andre Small and Mirto Murray. The firm has a cooperation with Gerard Spong and Oscar Hammerstein in the Netherlands. Other than attorney and partner Scheper was a legal consultant for SMS in Surinam for around a year.

In december 2009 Scheper left the firm, which continued under the name SMS Attorneys at Law.
After a brief cabattical Gerrit started his own law firm on 1 July 2010: Scheper Advocaten, with an office on Caracasbaaiweg.

Now, less than a year later, he joins forces with Saran Inderson.

Inderson's specialisation is general practice, litigation and family law. The new office Scheper Inderson Attorneys at Law will contain at the beginning 4 dedicated lawyers.

Scheper specializes in Corporate Law. He wrote several publications, columns for newspapers and is co-writer of the manual ‘The Parliamentary history of the Netherlands Antilles Civil Code’.

In his leisure time he enjoys spending time with his children and exercising his other passion: photography.
