Boersema Nagelmakers Attorneys at Law

As per 1st June attorney Barbara Nagelmakers is leaving HBN Law to become a partner at law firm Boersema Nagelmakers Advocaten.

Nagelmakers was admitted as an attorney to the Bar of the District Court of Arnhem in 1996 and to the Bar of the Joint Court of Justice of the Netherlands Antilles and Aruba in 2002.

In the Netherlands she worked as a lawyer at SRK Rechtsbijstand, as an attorney at Poelman Advocaten in Nijmegen and in 2005/6 as a subsidiary judge at the District Court in Middelburg. In 2002 she came to Curacao to work at Soliana Bonapart and Partners and since 2006 she has worked at HBN Law. Barbara has 10 years of litigation and advisory experience in all fields of civil law, mainly concerning contract law, tort, liability and bankruptcy.

Boersema started his own firm at the beginning of this year, after leaving Spigthoff Attorneys at Law and Tax Advisers end 2009.
