Yesterday two new attorneys at law were sworn in at the Court of Justice of the Netherlands Antilles abd Aruba. They are mr. Jacobus Prevo (picture right) and mr. Clifford Simon Frederic Marshall (picture left).
Marshall is working as an attorney at law firm Bennett on Curacao. He had a complete different background before taking his degree at UNA in 2008. In 1993 he became a technical engineer after his studies in Venezuela. As an engineer he worked at various projects on Curacao. From 1997 until now he also worked as a teacher with different organizations.
Prevo is an attorney at Curacao law firm Tjon Kwan Pow. Before completing his law study at the UNA, he was a principal at Marnix College. Although these two careers seem to be completely different, Prevo says there are also parallels: in both positions he is engaged in mediating in conflicts.
Both Marshall and Prevo have entered new careers and have taken up the challenge to be an attorney and on Curacao.
