Etienne Ys new Chairman Cifa

In the Annual Meeting of the Curaçao International Financial Services Association (Cifa) the members have elected a (partly) new board..
Chairman Bryan Irausquin and board member and former vice-chairman Steve Vanenburg are leaving the board after four years, the statutory maximum period for a board membership. Two new candidates have been proposed to the members: Etienne Ys as Chairman and Eric Paassen as a board member.
The Board now consists of: Chairman Etienne Ys (Ennia Group), vice-chairman Pieter Olthof (CMTC), treasurer Hugo van Neutegem (Amicorp), Evert Rakers ( Equity Trust), Arthur Adams (AIC), Daisy Carolus (MCB) en Eric Paassen (ATC Trust).
In the coming period Cifa wants to focus its attention to among others the Financial Action Task Force (FATF), evaluation of the laws against money laundring and financing of terrorism, developments in the field of the CIFC Foundation; the Wealth Preservation Conference LatAm 2010 and the pending legislation.
