Young professionals

Each year, the financial statements of the Maduro & Curiel's Bank N.V. (MCB) have a topic. This year, it is dedicated to “all young and energetic professionals”.
“One of the things that make the future of these islands extremely interesting is the many young professionals that we see heading energetically towards becoming future leaders in all sectors of our communities. In this light, we dedicate our financial statements 2009 to the young professionals in all islands of the Netherlands Antilles and Aruba and those at our banks.”
Under the heading “Young professionals show commitment; no longer behind the scenes”, the following persons between ages 21 and 40 are extensively described with photograph:
•Bryan Irausquin (34 and senior tax manager with Ernst & Young and chairman of Cifa, the Curaçao International Financial Services Association);
•Cedric Sprock (37 and director/owner of Coffee Factory in Curaçao);
•Fanny Cloose-Fung-A-Loi (39 and civil law notary with Burgers & Fung-A-Loi Notaries in Curaçao);
•Dillian van Eerden (30 and chemistry teacher in Curaçao);
•Dave Liqui-Lung (32 and lawyer with VanEps Kunneman VanDoorne in Curacao);
•Franklin Antoin (30 and pilot with Dutch Antilles Express in Curaçao and Bonaire);
•Danilo Christiaan (37 and project manager of Mangazina di Rei in Bonaire);
•Jairo Silberie (34 and Head drawing department of the Department of Public Works in Curaçao);
•Joanne Maria (teacher and active in the catholic church in Curaçao);
•Julian Lopez Ramirez (38 and Head Customs of the Netherlands Antilles and interim director Directorate of Fiscal Affairs in Curaçao);
•Rhona Mendez (32 and policy consultant Fiscal Affairs in Curaçao);
•Sheïda Offerman (28 and young mother and station manager with radio station Curom in Curaçao);
•Tirzah Doran (31 and teacher in the hospitality sector in Curaçao);
•Vernon Isabella (28 and manager of the Little League Liga Pabou in Curaçao);
•Gregor Koote (34 and account manager commercial credit with MCB in Curaçao);
•Vasco Daal (30 and senior account manager with the MCB subsidiary Windward Islands Bank in St. Maarten);
•Nzinga Lake (33 and founder of St. Maarten Eye Candy);
•Souraine Hazel (32 and graphic designer with Visual Lynx in St. Maarten);
•Gregoy Croeze (32 and assistant manager PwC in Aruba);
•Javier Rasmijn (29 and chief internal controller of Water and Energy Company WEB in Aruba);
•Nizana Solognier (26 and financial consultant with Amplus in Aruba).
The financial statements also pay attention to five young male professionals who took over the family business: Jean Trappenberg (37, Curaçao Candle); Bart Rosheuvel (38, Trupial Inn & Casino); Mahesh Mukhi (38, The Freeport Shop); Leo Lemmens (38, Antraco); and Roderick Lucia (36, Building Depot).
