Aqualectra signs agreement for expansion

Yesterday, the power company Aqualectra signed an agreement with NuCapital.
The agreement, named Power Purchase Agreement, gives the power company permission to expand the windmill parks near Playa Kanoa and Tera Kora. The company NuCapital manages the park near Playa Kanoa and will take charge of the expansion.
The agreement was signed by the managing director of Aqualectra, Anthon Casperson, and the managing director of NuCapital, Roy Kolader, in the presence of the Deputy of Public Health and Social Affairs, Humphrey Davelaar.
By means of this agreement, Aqualectra begins implementing a multiannual plan with the object to expand the power supply in Curacao in an environmental-friendly manner. The capacity for each park will be expanded by fifteen MW to arrive at a total capacity of thirty MW.
