Netherlands Antilles to sign tax agreements with Canada and Mexico

The Netherlands Antilles will sign tax information agreements with Canada on the 30th August in Vancouver and with Mexico on 1st September in Los Cabos. These agreements will provide for full exchange of information on criminal and civil tax matters.
The tax agreements with Canada and Mexico are the first in a series of 16 new treaties that the Netherlands Antilles will sign before the end on this year.
“These treaties confirm our commitment to transparency in international tax cooperation,” according to Mr. Alex Rosaria, State Secretary of Finance of the Netherlands Antilles.
Treaties that have been signed by the State Secretary of Finance:
- TIEA Netherlands Antilles and Australia
- Australia - Netherlands Antilles signed MOU
- TIEA Netherlands Antilles and New Zealand
- Verdrag t.b.v. Nederlandse Antillen, met Australië, m.b.t. uitwisseling inlichtingen belastingen; Canberra, 1-3-2007
- Verdrag Nederlandse Antillen en Nieuw-Zeeland inzake uitwisseling inlichtingen m.b.t. belastingen; 1-3-2007
- Verdrag Nederland en Republiek ten Oosten vd Uruguay inzake administratieve bijstand t.b.v. douanewetgeving; 22-2-2007
