- August 17, 2009 6:12 AM
The Parliament will discuss the trade-register ordinance next week. The purpose of this law is to establish a public register on the various Antilles Islands listing companies, foundations and associations.
The draft ordinance containing new regulations with relation to the trade-register is on the agenda of the public meeting of the Parliament next week Thursday.
Currently, there are separate registers for companies and foundations. Associations are not listed in the register. The law will soon enable a listing of all three in one register.
Other subjects up for discussion on the agenda of the Parliament are amongst others, a Central Committee meeting (next Tuesday at four PM) with amongst others Public Health-minister Omayra Leeflang (PAR), during which meeting the States are invited to give their opinion on the co-insurance of senior citizens with the SVB. A proposal enabling the aforementioned has been with the Advisory Council since January of this year. Leeflang does not wish to wait any longer and suggests starting implementation prior to the States approving the law.
