Curaçao law firm Spectrum Juris falls apart
- August 14, 2009 9:40 AM
The law firm that only a few months ago celebrated its name change from LFFW (i.e. partners Limon, Frans, Fa Si Oen and De Winter) into Spectrum Juris is confronted with a fall out of lawyers.
The first signs of the split were already visible in 2008 when Fa Si Oen left the partnership to start his own firm.
Recently, partner De Winter left the firm as well as two associates of Spectrum Juris, Ms. Michelle Meyer and Ms. Saskia van de Griek. Meyer is heading for Holland to take a mediation course and after that will return to Curaçao. Van de Griek started the firm Corporate Law as of April 1, 2009. De Winter is starting his own law firm as of this month.
Spectrum Juris, now consisting of partners Frans and Limon, could not be reached for comments.
