Parliament Sint Maarten to debate dissolution decision on Wednesday

PHILIPSBURG--An urgent plenary session of Parliament about the dissolution of Parliament, a decision taken by the Marcel Gumbs Cabinet, is scheduled in Parliament House for Wednesday starting at 10:00am.
 
The meeting was requested by National Alliance fraction Members of Parliament (MPs) George Pantophlet, Silveria Jacobs, and Christophe Emmanuel on October 20.

Governor Eugene Holiday is set to sign the dissolution decree on Wednesday when the Cabinet members tender their resignation at his office. Their resignation stems from a new majority in Parliament, the Coalition of Eight led by the National Alliance.
