Highest advisory councils of the Kingdom of the Netherlands meet in the Dutch Caribbean

WILLEMSTAD/ORANJESTAD – The highest advisory councils of the Kingdom recently met in the Dutch Caribbean. The Council of State of the Kingdom, the Advisory Council of the Netherlands Antilles, and the Advisory Council of Aruba visited prime-minister Nelso Oduber (MEP) on Friday.
At the head of the delegation of the Council of State was vice-president Herman Tjeenk Willink. At that of Aruba vice-chairman Boy Nicolaas, and the Advisory Council of the Netherlands Antilles was represented by vice-chairman Frank Kunneman. The visit took place within the framework of continuation of the cooperation relationship.
Oduber thanked the Council of State for the “objective and neutral” manner of giving advice, but also for the support of the officials of the Aruba Directorate of Legislation and Judicial Affairs, who can get a traineeship in the Netherlands.
Today, Tjeenk Willink of the Council of State has meetings in Curaçao.
