PwC: "We have nothing to do with Madoff"

The Antillean branch of PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) explicitly states that they have nothing to do with the Madoff issue. The name of the company was connected to the American swindler, last Monday. Nevertheless, it concerns PwC in Canada and the Netherlands.

According to Rokx, the branch situated on the Julianaplein, received several telephone calls of people who were concerned as a result of the articles published in several newspapers.

“We are not a worldwide concern, such as Citco”, states Cees Rokx, partner with PwC Curaçao. “We form a network of independent associations. We have nothing to do with Madoff.” The local branch is therefore not expecting any claims.
