An attemp of the judge to get the parties involved in the dismissal of the two board members of privatization institute StIP around the table, failed.
In the summary proceedings of the case of dismissed board members Joel da Silva Gois and Henri Emerenciana against StIP and the new President Ivan Kuster, the latter stated that it is useless to discuss this any further.
Da Silva Gois and Emerenciana started this summary proceedings to oppose their resignation as board members of the institute. They state that they have been dismissed wrongly. The govrnment means that the two were active as a board member illegally and that their term had expired a long time. Also the island government states that the previous Board of Governors had already decided that StIP would be dissolved , because there were no more government public limited liability companies to be privatized.
Da Silva Gois and Emerenciana yesterday stated that StIp is not a "standard foundation' and referred to a recent judgement.
The judge will pass judgement in this case on 5 November.
