Thirty-five years of faithful service at law firm

Humphrey Allee has been employed with law firm VanEps Kunneman VanDoorne for 35 years.

“Staff turnover is very customary in companies. Exceptional is that an employee is employed by a company at a young age and still works there with dedication and to his satisfaction so many years later,” says the office publicly.

Allee was employed by what was then still called law firm Rojer as messenger on September 9, 1975, and as such was a witness to the long history of the firm.

Abraham Papier started the firm in 1937. In 1949 it is taken over by Alex “Shon Papa” Rojer after he had learned the profession from mr. Papier. When the young messenger Humphrey has just started, a partnership with the Netherlands firm Van Doorne & Warendorf is started in 1978. In 1990 the Curaçao office moves from Pietermaai to the present accommodation at Julianaplein after many years. Since 2006 the firm is called VanEps Kunneman VanDoorne.

In all those years the firm grew to the present more than fifty employees, thirty of whom are lawyers. “I have seen many people come and go, but it is still a nice team and I am proud to be part of it”, according to Humphrey.
