Shooting St. Maarten

PHILIPSBURG - Police spokesman Chief Inspector Ricardo Henson has confirmed that police are investigating a shooting Wednesday night that left a man nursing a bullet wound to his back.
 
The victim and shooter were said to have been involved in an altercation and as the victim drove away the shooter shot at his car causing the injury.
 
The victim then drove himself from Middle Region to the Bush Road roundabout where he was met by an ambulance and taken to the hospital.
