Cocaine confiscated from Celebrity crew

PHILIPSBURG - Customs officers confiscated 1,200 grams of cocaine stashed in a package belonging to two Celebrity Silhouette crew members of Jamaican nationality on Thursday.
 
The find was made at Dr. A.C. Wathey Cruise and Cargo Facilities. Both men were arrested on board the vessel and taken to the police station.
Customs head Anthony Doran said in a press release last night that approximately 900 grams of cocaine also had been confiscated from a male passenger A.P.B. at SXM Princess Juliana International Airport on Sunday, February 1.
 
B. had 80 bolitas in his system, which was seen in X-ray pictures taken at St. Maarten Medical Center (SMMC).
 
Doran said additional information could not be released at the moment due to the ongoing investigations.
