Arrest Patrick Illidge in Orca Investigation

PHILIPSBURG - Monday morning, Januari 20th, 2014 Patrick Illidge was arrested by the Landsrecherche. The suspect was arrested on the accounts of bribery, money laundering and taking part in association, that has as its aim the committing of criminal offences.
 
PI voluntarily turned himself in. The interrogation is pending. In the interest of the ongoing investigation no further information can be disclosed.
 
The Orca investigation started in March last year following the showing of a film on the websites of The Daily Herald and the Dutch newspaper De Telegraaf. On the footage JvdH, owner of the “Bada Bing” brothel, can be seen handing over probably banknotes to the independent parliamentarian PI.
 
JvdH was arrested last year. His pre-trial detention is suspended.
