Flocker and Camelia: ‘Nothing illegal about Panama Papers’

WILLEMSTAD – The Curaçao law firm Legal FCW is mentioned in the so-called Panama Papers. But according to FCW lawyers Glenn Camelia and Wilfred Flocker there is nothing illegal.
 
They said this to Dutch morning paper Antilliaans Dagblad.
 
The lawyers help clients set up at an offshore structure which can be chosen for a construction through Curaçao, British Virgin Islands, Cayman Islands or Panama.
 
The Panama Papers is the name of a large collection of confidential documents from the Panamanian legal and business services Mossack Fonseca, which was leaked.
 
In addition to legal tax avoidance there are also cases of fraud or other illegal activities such circumventing trade sanctions or dealing with bribery.
 
Glenn Camelia is a well known lawyer on the island who was also in charge of forming two governments with the signature of the current ruling party Pueblo Soberano (PS).
