Judgment in main case Selikor versus Asjes adjourned

The judgment in the main case, in which refuse collection company Selikor submitted a 90,000-guilder claim against States chairman Ivar Asjes (PS) is adjourned until January 9th next year.

Selikor lawyer Siegmar Carmelia confirms this. However, according to plan, on December 12th judgment will be given in the third-party proceedings, which Selikor had instituted against the former members of the Board of Commissioners (RvC) of Selikor.Asjes was paid a monthly salary of 16,500 guilders between June 2007 and February 2008 because he was employed with the refuse collection company. However, the Selikor board of directors was of the opinion that Asjes’ appointment decision was unlawful and had taken him to court.
