Judgement in summery proceedings regarding sale Radisson Aruba postponed

ORANJESTAD - Aruba Growth Fund (AGF) has claimed in summary proceedings that Carlson Group resumes the negotiations with AGF, after Carlson concluded an agreement with RIU for the sale of the Radisson Hotel.
 
AGF has been negotiating on this sale with Carlson since September 2014, after it had been selected out of 13 interested candidates.
 
However, at the last moment and without informing AGF, a purchase agreement was concluded with RIU on 22 May, which had been realized in only eight days.
 
On behalf of AGF, attorney Rogier van den Heuvel of VanEps Kunneman VanDoorne consequently argued in the summary proceedings that the fund was led on by Carlson. The principal claim is that the negotiations are resumed. During the sessions, Carlson promised to wait with the fulfillment of the purchase agreement until the court has ruled on 17 June.
 
Both parties have now asked the judge to postpone the judgement one week.
